Job summary

Washington State University’s Gene and Linda Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in bioengineering at the Pullman campus.

The successful candidate will develop a funded research program, teach core and elective courses, mentor students, and collaborate across departments and national labs, with a start date of August 16, 2027.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in bioengineering or related field before start of appointment.
• Ability to teach core bioengineering classes; capstone design experience encouraged.
• Demonstrated scholarly record with potential for externally funded research.

Responsibilities

• Teach core and elective undergraduate and graduate bioengineering courses.
• Mentor a diverse group of students and supervise projects.
• Establish a dynamic, externally funded research program and publish work.
