Case Western Reserve University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Bioethics within the School of Medicine. The successful candidate will conduct scholarly work in Bioethics, Medical Humanities, or related areas and contribute to teaching at undergraduate, graduate, and medical school levels.

Applicants must hold a terminal degree and demonstrate potential to secure external funding; start date is negotiable, with January 1 or July 1, 2027 as preferred options.

Formación

• Terminal degree (PhD,JD,MD, etc.) at the time of appointment.
• Strong record of scholarly activity in Bioethics, Medical Humanities, Social Medicine, or related areas.
• Interest and ability to develop and submit proposals to NIH, NSF, or other funding sources.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Department’s multi-disciplinary faculty and contribute to the Department’s teaching programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and medical school levels.
• Begin work January 1 or July 1, 2027 (start date negotiable).
