Delaware Valley University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology starting in August 2027. The candidate will teach courses in anatomy and physiology, introductory biology, and contribute to strengthening the pre-professional curriculum.

The ideal candidate has a PhD in Biology with specialization in Anatomy and Physiology, and demonstrates excellence in teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activity.

Formación

• PhD in Biology required for the tenure-track role.
• Specialization in Anatomy and Physiology including Human Anatomy/Physiology is preferred.
• Experience teaching introductory biology at the undergraduate level is required or strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for teaching, mentoring, and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Teach upper- and lower-level biology courses including Comparative Physiology, Human Anatomy and Human Physiology.
• Recruit and advise students; maintain regular office hours.
• Participate in department and faculty meetings; contribute to outcomes assessment and program development.
• Engage in professional development and scholarship; stay current in the field.
