Job summary

East Tennessee State University is seeking a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Anatomy and Physiology within the Department of Biomedical Health Sciences. The initial teaching load is two courses per semester (lectures + labs), with opportunities to teach or develop additional courses based on expertise and departmental needs.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Preference for experience teaching undergraduate health sciences and anatomy/physiology.
• Two years of undergraduate teaching experience preferred; GA teaching experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Human Genetics.
• Possibly develop other courses based on expertise and departmental needs.
• Conduct scholarly activity aligned with the department and college missions.
• Participate on Department, College, and University committees.
