The Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler(UT Tyler) is seeking applicants for one full-time tenure-trackAssistant/Associate Professor in Management with a focus onInternational Business and able to teach undergraduate and graduateInternational Business and International Management. The positionstarts in Fall 2027 pending final budget approval, and the salarywill be competitive and commensurate with experience.
The purpose of this tenure-track faculty position is to advance theacademic mission of the Soules College of Business throughexcellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. In alignment withuniversity standards, the successful candidate will maintain anactive, well-defined research stream focused on InternationalBusiness, aiming for publication in high-quality, peer-reviewedjournals. Instructional duties include delivering undergraduate andgraduate courses in both face-to-face and online formats within theInternational Business discipline. Additionally, the faculty memberwill support the university community through active service ondepartment or college committees and regular participation infaculty governance.
Review of applications will begin immediately, and the positionwill remain open until filled. An ideal candidate should have awell-defined research stream in International Business and/orInternational Management and have the potential to publish inhigh-quality management journals, as defined in Soules College ofBusiness policies. The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement Systemof Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours perweek and at least 135 days in length.
