Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification.
• NJ Criminal History; Work authorization in the U.S.; Tuberculosis Test.
• Experience is a plus; Tenure track position; TPAF enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Art education to students, fostering creativity and developing artistic skills.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with New Jersey standards.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to support artistic development.
• Establish a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and active participation.
• Manage art materials and resources to ensure proper use and maintenance.
• Organize extracurricular activities like field trips to art museums and art exhibitions.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and stay current with best practices in art education.
• Communicate responsibly with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Follows all policies; attend to attendance and punctuality; performs other duties as assigned.
• Integrates appropriate technology into classroom instruction.
