Qualifications

• PhD in Animal Science or closely related field.
• Five (5) years’ teaching experience; managing ruminant research and operations.
• Extensive training in animal breeding, genetics and meat science.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes and subjects.
• Guide and supervise students.
• Foster an environment for teaching, learning and research.
• Develop curricula for the field.
• Attend departmental meetings and hold office hours.
• Maintain lab equipment and arrange practical sessions.
• Support fellow faculty academically.
• Serve on university committees.
• Demonstrate grantsmanship and publish scholarly work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
