Qualifications

• PhD in Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, or Economics with background in Agriculture or Agribusiness.
• Five years of teaching experience at college or university level.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a requisite number of classes; Teaches assignedsubjects
• Provides guidance and supervision to students
• Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence inteaching, learning and research
• Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/hersubject(s)
• Participates in departmental meetings and holds scheduledoffice hours
• Maintains equipment in the laboratory, makes arrangements forlaboratory practical sessions, and provides materials tostudents
• Provides academic support to other faculty members
• Serves on departmental and University committees, asassigned
• Demonstrates grantsmanship and ability to publish in peerreview journals
• Other related duties, as assigned
