Job summary

The University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Anatomy/Physiology in the Department of Exercise & Sport Science for a 9-month position starting 8/23/2027 (with potential January 2027 start). The hire will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advise students, and pursue an active scholarly agenda.

Applicants should have a Doctorate in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science by the end of the first academic year and demonstrate

• Doctorate in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science by end of first academic year.
• Evidence of effective instruction.
• Evidence of clear and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
• Advise students.
• Maintain currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment and provide regular feedback on student work.
• Maintain an active program of scholarship and engage in service to the department, college, and university.
