Formación

• PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, chemistry, computer science, data science, biomedical engineering, or closely related field.
• Demonstrated use or development of AI/ML methods to address biochemical or biomedical questions.
• Potential to establish an independent externally funded research program.
• Evidence of effective undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising, and mentorship.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and sustain an independent, externally funded research program at the intersection of AI/ML and biochemistry or biomedical science.
• Develop and apply computational approaches to protein modeling, molecular interactions, systems biology, multi-omics, biomarker discovery, or drug discovery.
• Publish in peer-reviewed outlets and present at scientific meetings.
• Pursue competitive funding from federal agencies, foundations, industry, and other sponsors.
• Build collaborations across departments and internal/external partners.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate researchers and promote ethical, reproducible science.
