Job summary

North Carolina Central University (NCCU) is seeking a qualified Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting for a 9-month, tenure-track position. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Business with a focus on Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution and a strong commitment to teaching and research.

The role includes teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in accounting, while maintaining an active scholarship and contributing to community service. Experience with SAP and interests in accounting systems/data analytics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated potential for quality teaching and research.
• ABD candidates may be considered at the instructor level.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and possibly graduate accounting courses.
• Demonstrate a track record or potential for publications.
• Provide service to the School, the University, the profession, and the community.
