Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field is required or equivalent.
• Ability to provide comprehensive academic, career, transfer, personal, and retention-focused counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic, career, transfer, personal, and retention-focused counseling services to students in LTCC programs.
• Assist students in developing educational plans, setting academic goals, and navigating college processes.
• Provide counseling, advising, and student contact services mandated by Title 5 for EOPS/CARE/NextUp programs and maintain documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate programs, services, workshops, orientations, and interventions for student success.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with college departments and external partners to support EOPS/CARE/CalWORKs/NextUp students.
• Monitor program budgets, reports, and compliance documentation for categorical programs.
