Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field or equivalent; Credential also acceptable.
• Two years of occupational experience in work relating to minorities or disadvantaged groups (per EOPS rules).
• Completion of necessary coursework from recognized accredited college/university.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic, personal and vocational counseling to students.
• Develop educational plans and assist in selecting courses or majors.
• Refer students to support services and monitor academic progress.
• Advise on career choices and matriculation process at other colleges.
