Job summary

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) seeks a tenancy track Assistant Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis in the Department of Psychology. The candidate will teach graduate ABA courses and possibly undergraduate ABA offerings, engage in mentoring and supervision of students, and participate in program development and accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or ABD in Applied Behavior Analysis from an accredited program, or Ph.D. in Psychology or Special Education with ABA emphasis.
• BCBA Certification.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in ABA, in-person and/or online.
• Evidence of or potential for mentoring applied research with undergrad/graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level coursework in ABA (e.g., Concepts and Principles of ABA; Behavior Methods; Autism Intervention).
• Possible undergraduate ABA courses (Behavioral Psychology, Developmental Psychopathology, Methods of ABA).
• Maintain weekly office hours and participate in faculty meetings and department/service activities.
• Contribute to MS in ABA program, including committee work, accreditation adherence, and curricular updates.
• Possibly teach on weekdays/evenings/weekends/online as needed and support equitable outcomes for students.
