Job summary

California State University, Northridge invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis in the Department of Psychology. The successful candidate will teach graduate ABA courses, including Concepts and Principles of ABA; Behavior Methods – Measurement and Experimental Evaluation of Behavior; and Special Topics or Autism Intervention.

He/she may teach undergraduate ABA topics as well.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or ABD in ABA or related field with emphasis in behavior analysis.
BCBA Certification.
Evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in ABA, in-person and/or online.
Evidence of mentored applied research experiences with undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsibilities

Teach graduate-level ABA courses such as Concepts and Principles of ABA; Behavior Methods – Measurement and Experimental Evaluation of Behavior; and Special Topics or Autism Intervention.
Teach undergraduate ABA courses such as Behavioral Psychology and Therapy; Developmental Psychopathology; Advanced Inquiry courses in ABA; and Methods of ABA.
Provide weekly office hours and participate in faculty meetings; engage in department, college, and university service; supervise graduate students in the MS in ABA program.
Contribute to course development and curricular updates; ensure accreditation standards and program requirements are met; support equity and inclusion initiatives.
Engage in scholarly research and mentorship to foster a diverse student body and inclusive learning environment.
