Job summary

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis in the Department of Psychology. The successful candidate will teach graduate ABA courses, contribute to undergraduate offerings, and actively participate in the MS in ABA program and related committees.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or ABD in Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field with emphasis in behavior analysis.
• BCBA Certification is required or evident.
• Experience teaching ABA at undergraduate and/or graduate level, in-person or online.
• Evidence of, or potential for, mentored research in ABA with students.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level ABA coursework (e.g., Concepts and Principles of ABA; Behavior Methods – measurement and evaluation; topics in autism intervention).
• Possibly teach undergraduate ABA courses such as Behavioral Psychology and Therapy; Developmental Psychopathology; Methods of ABA.
• Maintain weekly office hours, participate in faculty meetings, and contribute to department, college, and university service.
• Engage in supervision of MS in ABA graduate students and participate in program committee and accreditation alignment.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program updates, and promote equitable outcomes for diverse students.

Education

Ph.D. or ABD in Applied Behavior Analysis or Psychology/Special Education with emphasis in behavior analysis

BCBA Certification

Teaching experience in ABA (undergrad/grad) – in-person or online

Mentored undergraduate/graduate research in ABA
