Job summary

The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection on Alabama's Gulf Coast is seeking a friendly Tennis Shop Attendant for a part-time role. You will welcome guests, help with court bookings and lessons, and share tennis gear knowledge to ensure guests enjoy every moment of their visit.

As part of a cordial team, you will keep the shop tidy, assist with transactions, and guide guests to suitable merchandise for a memorable tennis experience.

Qualifications

• Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, listen actively to their needs, and provide personalized assistance with bookings, lessons, and tennis gear.
• Court & Lesson Booking: Assist guests with court reservations and lesson scheduling, offering alternatives and optimizing availability to enhance their experience.
• Merchandise Knowledge: Stay current on tennis equipment and apparel. Share product knowledge to help guests make informed choices.
• Sales & Service: Recommend additional merchandise or services based on guest preferences. Accurately process transactions through the POS system.
• Facility Care: Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tennis shop, restrooms, courts, and viewing areas. Ensure all areas are guest-ready at all times.
• Inventory Support: Monitor inventory levels, keep displays organized and stocked, and communicate restocking needs to appropriate team members.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow associates to ensure smooth operations and consistently high service standards.
