Job summary

PCH Hotels And Resorts, Inc. is seeking a Tennis Shop Attendant at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa on Alabama’s Gulf Coast.

You will warmly greet guests, book courts and lessons, and promote tennis merchandise while maintaining a pristine shop environment. You will collaborate with a supportive team, handle transactions via the POS system, and stay current on equipment to ensure guests have a memorable visit.

Qualifications

Experience in guest service roles.
Knowledge of tennis equipment is a plus.
Ability to handle transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, listen actively to their needs, and provide personalized assistance with bookings, lessons, and tennis gear.
Assist guests with court reservations and lesson scheduling, offering alternatives and optimizing availability to enhance their experience.
Stay current on tennis equipment and apparel. Share product knowledge to help guests make informed choices.
Recommend additional merchandise or services based on guest preferences. Accurately process transactions through the POS system.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tennis shop, restrooms, courts, and viewing areas. Ensure all areas are guest-ready at all times.
Monitor inventory levels, keep displays organized and stocked, and communicate restocking needs to appropriate team members.
Collaborate with fellow associates to ensure smooth operations and consistently high service standards.
