Job summary

North Central College in Naperville, IL, is hiring a part-time Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Administrator and Coach to lead the tennis program operations within Division III. You will recruit student-athletes, coordinate travel, manage budget, and work with athletics leadership to enhance performance and student development.

The role emphasizes strong coaching knowledge, communication with families, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities while supporting a positive team

Qualifications

• Specific knowledge of tennis coaching theories and techniques.
• Ability to recruit qualified student-athletes and communicate with students and parents.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and travel logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recruit a highly competitive men’s and women’s tennis program in line with Division III philosophy.
• Coordinate operational calendar, travel logistics, hotel bookings, and tournament expenses.
• Oversee budget in consultation with head coach; monitor recruiting expenses.
• Direct domestic and international recruitment strategies and manage the recruitment funnel.
• Supervise staff, schedule facilities, and plan official tournaments and events.
• Apply performance methods, tactical analysis, and athletic conditioning on court.
• Develop practice plans and game strategies with coaching staff.
• Promote professional development in tennis, wellness, and strength conditioning.
• Foster team culture, leadership development, and inclusive environment.
• Participate in promotional activities and other marketing tasks.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
