Job summary

North Central College seeks an Assistant Women’s Track and Field Coach (Jumps) in Naperville, IL. The role supports recruitment, development, and retention of women athletes within a Division III program.

The incumbent primarily coaches the horizontal jumps, plans practices, and collaborates with the coaching staff to create event-specific training. Bachelor’s degree preferred; progressive coaching experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Progressive coaching and/or competitive experience in the events or sport.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and recruitment of a competitive women’s track and field program.
• Coaches the horizontal jumps; organize standard practices and develop athletes.
• Design in-season, off-season, and pre-season event-specific training plans.
• Collaborate with sports medicine or athletic training for rehab of injured athletes.
• Analyze film, write reports, and communicate with student-athletes in the specialty area.
