Job summary

Naperville Park District is seeking a part-time Tennis Assistant Instructor to support Lead or Certified Tennis Instructors in teaching tennis to participants. This role involves on-site activity delivery, supervision, and maintaining equipment per policy.

The position requires experience with children and tennis, plus reliable communication with participants and parents. Fitness and flexibility to work varied hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children.
• Must have tennis experience.
• Must provide own tennis racket and footwear.
• Subject to modified/flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program participants.
• Implement tennis activities and provide instruction as directed by Lead Instructor.
• Teach participants in the absence of the Lead Instructor per lesson plan.
• Maintain equipment and facility in a clean and orderly manner.
• Communicate with participants, parents and staff regarding questions and concerns.
• Conduct first aid procedures as necessary.
• Support park district customer service standards.
• Follow safety and administrative policies.
