Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club in Chicago is seeking a Tennis Professional who is passionate about helping members and will foster their love of racquet sports. You will coach group and private lessons for adults and youths, set up engaging clinics, and uphold high standards of play and sportsmanship in a welcoming, resort-like environment.

Qualifications

• Have relevant coaching experience, including group and private lessons for adults and youth.
• Are Safe Play certified or willing to become Safe Play certified prior to hiring.
• Possess one nationally recognized racquet sports certification or be willing to certify within 3 months of hire.
• Have an NTRP rating of 4.0 or equivalent and be able to demonstrate skills effectively.
• Have a growth mindset and are curious.
• Are passionate about helping others, see the glass as half-full, and enthusiastic about coming to work every day.

Competitive Compensation:

Depending on credentials and experience, full-time Midtown professionals earn, including the value of the full-time benefits package, and considering 30 hours of instruction per week, between $65k and $85k, annually.
