Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club in Rochester, CA seeks a Tennis Coach dedicated to helping members and cultivating a love of racquet sports. You will lead group and private lessons for adults and youth, promote Safe Play, and demonstrate NTRP levels to players of all abilities.

This is a full-time role with competitive compensation and a benefits package, plus ongoing training and development opportunities within Midtown's coaching team.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching group and private lessons for adults and youth.
• Must have Safe Play certification or be willing to become certified.
• Must hold one nationally recognized racquet sports certification or certify within 3 months.
• NTRP rating 4.0 or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and private tennis lessons for adults and youth.
• Promote Safe Play and inline with club standards.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and programs.
• Contribute to member development and club events.

Competitive Compensation:

Depending on credentials and experience, full-time Midtown coaches earn, including the value of the full-time benefits package, and considering 30 hours of instruction per week, between $65k and $85k, annually.

• Are Safe Play certified or willing to become Safe Play certified prior to hiring.
• Possess one nationally recognized racquet sports certification or be willing to become certified within 3 months of hire.
• Have an NTRP rating of 4.0 or equivalent and be able to demonstrate skills effectively.
