BASIS Ed is seeking qualified candidates for a Soccer Coach role in Scottsdale to support the junior programs during November–January and the varsity spring season. This is a part-time, seasonal position within BASIS Ed's auxiliary program.

Responsibilities include teaching fundamentals, developing drills, and attending all games and practices to foster sportsmanship and skill development among young athletes.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience coaching youth soccer.
  • Ability to teach fundamental soccer skills effectively.

Job description

BASIS Scottsdale is seeking qualified candidates for a Soccer Coach November 30th - January 31st, 2027.

Varisty Soccer Coed - Spring - February 27th - April 27, 2027

This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.

Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.

Required Qualifications
  • HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Experience working with young athletes
  • Ability to demonstrate soccer skills effectively
  • Experience in playing soccer at a competitive level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Collegiate student-athlete experience
Responsibilities
  • Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of soccer (starting from how to kick a ball properly)
  • Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
  • Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
  • Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
