The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated Tennis Guest Services Attendant to greet guests, handle memberships, pass sales, and assist with program information and reservations. Job description

The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual for the position of Tennis Guest Services Attendant. This role is responsible for interfacing with guests in order to meet or exceed guest needs with respect to facility, program or service needs. This includes providing information, implementing or carrying out preplanned programs or activities, assisting with program planning, handling cash, enforcing policies or procedures, and generally representing the department in the most quality and service-oriented manner possible.

Tennis Guest Services Attendants are also responsible for providing excellent guest service, greeting guests, conducting membership, pass and pro-shop sales, light custodial duties, and providing information and explanation of services and programs offered by the Recreation Department. This position performs cash handling duties and conducts transactions with a computerized point of sale system, and also coordinates equipment needs, performs facility checks, and handles facility reservations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED, or current enrollment in a HS/GED program required.
  • Must have one (1) or more years of customer service experience.
  • Must have one (1) or more years of cash handling experience.
  • Must have one (1) or more years computerized point of sale experience.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES REQUIRED
  • Basic CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications are required within 60 days of hire.
  • Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two (2) or more years of customer service experience in cash handling and/or customer service experience in the recreation or hospitality industry desired.
  • Knowledge and experience with Tennis Programs and/or Facilities.

Typical Hiring Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.25 per hour.

WORK SCHEDULE

Primary shifts for this position vary, but generally include days, nights, weekends, and holidays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with a typical schedule of 10 to 20 hours per week, with additional hours as needed.
