Job summary

Absolute Storage Management is seeking a Property Manager to assist customers with renting storage units in-person, by phone, and through marketing channels. You will identify storage needs, guide new customers through the rental process, and maintain a clean, well-organized office.

You will monitor rates and promotions, perform daily cash handling and deposits, and support local marketing efforts. A background screening is required, and driving may require a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred.
• Property Manager: at least one year of property management experience preferred.
• A background screening will be conducted at time of hire.
• For positions involving driving, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes
• Resolves issues professionally and positively
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep well-organized records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections to ensure timely and consistent completion
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed
• Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors
• Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws
• If at a participating location, assist tenants with completing, processing and returning rentals through programs such as U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned rental truck services.
