Job summary

Playbook in San Francisco seeks a seasoned events and placemaking leader to curate the building's tenant programming, calendar, and experiences that foster connection and productivity.

You’ll partner with the Experience Director to translate strategy into high-impact activations—from broker showcases to daily tenant rituals—ensuring flawless execution and measurable outcomes for leasing and retention.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing full-cycle event operations, hospitality, or premium guest-facing environments.
• Experience owning operational standards and team performance in high-volume environments.
• Proven ability to drive revenue and efficiency through planning and staffing.
• Strong problem-solving to resolve event issues while protecting guest experience.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience.
• Tech-savvy with booking, scheduling, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the tenant community programming strategy, calendar, and events.
• Design and execute activations across amenity spaces to boost leasing velocity and tenant retention.
• Build relationships with tenants and vendors to tailor programming.
• Coordinate with on-site F&B and retail partners for cross-promotions.
• Define goals, logistics, and run-of-show for each event.
• Track attendance, feedback, and budget impact to drive data-driven insights.
