Job summary

Tishman Speyer is seeking a Client Services Supervisor in New York to oversee cleaning and maintenance staff, maintain staffing records, and foster positive tenant relationships while upholding cleanliness standards across buildings.

The role requires 5 years in cleaning/operations, strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; on-site schedule Monday–Friday with some evenings; base pay range $100k-$110k plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cleaning/operations with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience managing people and building maintenance programs.
• Ability to train staff and enforce safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with eTime and ADP a plus.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• 32BJ union experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong tenant relationships through timely responses to issues and complaints.
• Be on call 24 hours to respond to emergencies (floods, fire, snow).
• Develop programs to increase productivity and profitability.
• Oversee safety training for the Client Services team (OSHA compliance).
• Train staff in janitorial work and conduct inspections to uphold standards.
• Manage staffing, attendance reports, and timekeeping.
• Interview candidates for seasonal and full-time positions.
• Coordinate payroll with Payroll Administrators on a weekly basis.
• Work with Foreperson to address requests and complaints promptly.
• Conduct daily and periodic quality control inspections.
• Assist in transitioning newly acquired business and preparing proposals.
• Maintain strong interactions with customers and building staff.
• Other tasks as assigned.
