Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks a skilled professional to lead end‑to‑end site installation for tower builds, network upgrades, and telecom deployments. You will coordinate scheduling, material readiness, and field personnel to ensure timely delivery and adherence to NEC/EIA/TIA standards.

You will oversee subcontractors, verify power quality for new equipment, and conduct safety and metering inspections. Strong knowledge of construction drawings and IT integration is essential.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of subcontractor and site management experience; supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm scheduling and personnel availability; conduct pre‑implementation coordination and material readiness.
  • Conduct site visits to assess facilities and ensure NEC and EIA/TIA grounding/installation standards.
  • Manage construction subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Validate site power quality for all newly deployed equipment.
  • Perform safety and metering inspections; measure current and voltage at main/sub-panels; assess bonding and busbar integrity.
  • Coordinate ancillary IT services to support full solution integration into TNMP.
  • Maintain construction drawings; capture red‑lined updates; reflect changes in as‑built records.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and subcontractors; ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities
  • Perform surveys, assist with design and oversee end‑to‑end site installation processes for new tower builds, network upgrades, small‑form‑factor deployments, microwave PTP/PTMP links, and expeditionary COW/CoLT installations.
  • Confirm scheduling and personnel availability while conducting all pre‑implementation coordination, including material readiness and solution validation.
  • Perform comprehensive site visits and surveys to visually assess facilities and ensure compliance with NEC and EIA/TIA grounding and installation standards.
  • Manage construction subcontractors to maintain adherence to schedule, quality expectations, and safety requirements.
  • Validate site power quality to confirm adequate and stable power for all newly deployed equipment.
  • Conduct safety and metering inspections, including current and voltage measurements at main and sub‑panels, and evaluate bonding and busbar integrity.
  • Coordinate required ancillary IT services to support full solution integration into the TNMP.
  • Maintain all construction drawings and documentation, ensuring red‑lined updates are continuously captured and accurately reflected in the as‑built records.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and subcontractors; ensures quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

  • Required Experience: 5+ years of subcontractor and site management; supervisory experience highly desired

Location: Remote within 50 miles of a major airport. Travel required: 25-50%.

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire.
