Job summary

Katy ISD All LOCATIONS in Katy, Texas is seeking a Temporary Worker - General Worker to assist district staff with a variety of manual and light tasks and to provide excellent customer service.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a pay rate of $10.00 per hour and requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, readiness for varied duty days, and the ability to work in non-air-conditioned environments.

Primary Purpose

Assist other district employees with a variety of physical and mental demanding tasks. Provide excellent customer service.

Equipment Used

Personal computer, hand tools, ladder, hand truck, dolly, and pallet jack

Working Conditions

Work outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures, humid conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, odors, loud noises, and slippery or uneven surfaces. Continual walking and standing, frequent heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects and vehicles.
