Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is seeking a temporary tutor/teacher to support advanced learners in Cypress, TX. You will design lessons to foster critical and creative thinking and facilitate engaging activities in line with campus leadership priorities.

The role involves managing small groups, following the district-mandated schedule, and upholding professional standards, confidentiality, and policy compliance. Experience with Gifted/Talented education is valued.

Qualifications

• Recommendation from a District department or campus. Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from recognized, accredited college or university preferred for tutors and/or professional positions.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certification
• Minimum of 30 hours of professional learning in the area of Gifted/Talented education.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
• Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.

Terms Of Employment

This is a temporary assignment. The length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.
