Job summary

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, seeks a temporary Website Administrator to oversee the college’s web presence and user experience. You will enhance messaging across digital media and support WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

Ideal candidates have strong WordPress, HTML/CSS, and responsive design skills, plus experience in SEO and content management. This is a temporary role reporting to Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in web development or related field.
• At least two years of professional web design experience.
• Extensive knowledge of WordPress and common plugins.
• Self-starter with collaborative approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Website management and design: content, architecture, templates.
• Assist with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance planning.
• CMS user support and training for campus departments.
