Job summary

Millersville University is seeking a temporary, part-time Special Education instructor to teach coursework and/or supervise student teachers in the Department of Special Education. This role may be used to fill-in for sabbaticals or leaves and to generate a pool of qualified faculty.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Special Education or related discipline.
• 3+ years full-time teaching experience.
• Evidence of ability to successfully teach diverse student populations.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
• Successful interview.
• Successful teaching demonstration for class teaching assignments.
• Successful completion of three background checks.
