Job summary

Hillsides in South Pasadena is seeking a Temporary Therapist for Full Services Partnership Services. You will provide mental health services to children and families within the FSP program, linking clients with resources and care coordination.

The position offers a starting salary range of $71,500–$80,500 plus a $3,500 yearly stipend, bilingual stipend, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Strong benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid sick leave.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Welfare or counseling from an accredited college or university
• Strong knowledge of the Recovery Model, crisis intervention and systems theory
• Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse clientele & staff
• Registered with the BBS and has a BBS number
• Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to clients and their families participating in the FSP Program
• Knowledge and practice in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Mandating reporting laws
• Participate in individual clinical supervision with a licensed supervisor and group supervision with peer group
• Excellent communication skills and interface with intra-agency systems such as DMH, DCFS, Office of Probation, Office of Conservatorship and other government or private entities
• Responsible for carrying a caseload of 10-12 FSP clients, depending on acuity level, with administrative oversight of files and goals
• Timely reporting of all work-related documentation including mileage reimbursement and forms
• Provide case management and resources to clients such as housing and employment
• Available to work evenings as needed
• Available on call to respond to crisis 24/7
• Other duties as required
