Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Temporary Teacher/Teacher Assistant for Explorer Academy in Bunnell for a roughly three-month assignment during October through December. This role supports children with a positive, nurturing learning environment. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; experience with young children (and disabilities a plus); CPR/First Aid preferred; and completion of the Florida DCF 45-Hour Training within 90

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Experience with children with disabilities is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must complete Florida DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities and daily routines.
• Encourage children's learning, development, and independence.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Follow lesson plans and classroom schedules.
• Assist with meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions.
