Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Temporary Teacher/Teacher Assistant for Explorer Academy in Bunnell, FL, for a roughly three-month assignment during October, November, and December. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., supporting children in a positive, inclusive learning environment. You will work with young children, including those with disabilities, and help implement lesson plans, maintain safety, and foster development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to complete Florida DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting classroom activities and daily routines
• Encouraging children's learning, development, and independence
• Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Following lesson plans and classroom schedules
• Assisting with meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions
