Beehive Clothing SLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Temporary Packaging Operator for the Swing Shift. The role involves preparing garments for packaging, operating printing and packing equipment, and ensuring accurate labeling and marking of products for shipment.

The position is a 6-month temporary assignment with a fixed schedule (Mon–Thu 2:30 PM–11:45 PM; Fri 12 PM–6 PM or later). Starting pay is $16.50/hr plus $1.00/hr swing shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted with equivalent work experience).
• Basic math skills and ability to count accurately.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills are required.
• Must communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions and team communications.
• Must perform repetitive movements during an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Receives sewn product and verifies product information.
• Assists in setting up and aligning screens, plates, inks for printing.
• Loads and unloads printing equipment.
• May manually apply print to product.
• Identifies and replaces misprinted or unacceptable garments.
• Assists in mixing inks, creating screens and plates.
• Keeps screens and plates clean; maintains machine and work area.
• Detects color variations to ensure print integrity.
• Coordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignments.
• Performs general housekeeping duties for products and areas.
