Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Packer on the 2-2-3 shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM). You will inspect finished plastic products, package them per specifications, and apply correct labels to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll contribute to a team, maintain clean work areas, manage packaging materials, and help meet production schedules while upholding safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects and quality issues.
• Package plastic products according to specifications and seal properly.
• Label packages with product information and warning labels as needed.
• Monitor production line efficiency and address packaging issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
