Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a temporary Surgery Scheduler in Shrewsbury, NJ. The role runs from 09/18/2026 to 02/26/2027, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, supporting pediatric and adult cases and coordinating OR time with surgeons and staff.

Responsibilities include scheduling procedures, confirming times, ensuring room turnover efficiency, and communicating with the OR Director. Prior scheduling experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in surgery scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all surgical procedures for pediatric and adult patients.
• Obtains and enters necessary information for OR time requests.
• Communicates with OR Director/Administrator about block time and scheduling needs.
• Prepares and distributes the final version of the schedule.
