Job summary

NEA is seeking a six-month assignment in the Strategy Department to support strategic planning, learning, and engagement. You will synthesize information, develop materials for leadership, and align the President's vision with the Association's strategic priorities.

The role emphasizes facilitation, organizational learning, and collaboration across departments to strengthen implementation and member outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and materials.
• Experience designing strategic conversations, learning experiences, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Knowledge of vision development, organizational change, strategic alignment, and organizational learning practices.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning, organizational learning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Synthesize complex information into clear materials for leadership and the Board.
• Develop presentations, reports, learning resources, and engagement experiences for decision-making.
• Align the incoming NEA President's vision with the Association's strategic plan.
• Advance learning initiatives and collaboration practices to strengthen culture and outcomes.
• Plan and support SWOT analyses and future planning efforts.
