Job summary

The National Education Association (NEA) seeks a temporary Strategy Analyst to join the Strategy Department for a six-month assignment, supporting planning, organizational learning, and leadership engagement to translate the President's vision into actionable priorities.

You will synthesize complex information, create clear materials for the NEA Board and senior leaders, and help design engagement experiences and learning resources to strengthen strategic alignment.

Qualifications

• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience designing and facilitating strategic conversations, learning experiences, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Knowledge of vision development, organizational change, strategic alignment, and organizational learning practices.
• Strong written, presentation, analytical, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Align the incoming president's vision with the strategic plan and identify opportunities for integration across initiatives.
• Create materials, briefing documents, and presentations for leadership, the NEA Board, and internal stakeholders.
• Advance initiatives to deepen leadership understanding of belonging and organizational culture; strengthen engagement and mission outcomes.
• Recommend learning opportunities for the Vision Dialogue Group (G27) and related topics.
• Support implementation of the NEA Strategic Plan and planning for the 2027 SWOT Analysis.
