Job summary

The Museum of Modern Art in New York’s Soho Design Store is seeking three temporary Stock Associates to support stockroom operations, store replenishment and the efficient handling of receipts and deliveries.

Reporting to the Associate Store Manager, you will maintain an organized stockroom, prepare products for fixture readiness, replenish fixtures, assist in inventories and uphold MoMA standards. Salary is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year in a retail stockroom/shipping.
• Strong verbal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
• Proficiency with POS, Order Entry and Inventory Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments and deliveries.
• Receive merchandise.
• Process store sends.
• Prepare product for fixture readiness (ticketing, shrink wrap).
• Replenish store fixtures.
• Maintain an organized stockroom.
• Assist in inventories.
• Perform other duties as needed.
