Chicago Public Schools in Chicago is seeking a licensed teacher to lead instruction for students with diverse needs. Under the supervision of the school principal, you will plan lessons, monitor progress, track IEP goals, and maintain classroom discipline.

You will collaborate with case managers, counselors, and general education teachers to tailor instruction, support student wellbeing, and promote equity and high expectations per CPS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
• Valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 endorsement.
• Completion of CPS online application and teaching profile.

Responsabilités

• Instruct and monitor student progress, tracking IEP goals and applying CPS standards.
• Collaborate with case managers, counselors, and general education teachers to determine instructional needs and supports.
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment that aligns with CPS Framework for Teaching.
• Communicate with families and school staff to support student success.
