Job summary

The College of Coastal Georgia is seeking a shuttle driver to provide student transport between the Brunswick campus and Coastal Place Apartments with a 14-passenger van. Flexible schedule, Monday–Friday 7:00 am–9:00 pm; CDL not required.

Responsibilities include picking up passengers, maintaining a friendly demeanor, performing daily safety checks, following traffic rules, and keeping the vehicle clean. A background check and authorization to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record; yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random drug testing.
• At least 10 years of driving experience.

• Transport passengers between Brunswick campus, Coastal Place Apartments, and campus venues.

Flexible schedule to provide shuttling services for college students via a 14‑passenger van between the Brunswick campus and the off‑site Coastal Place Apartments. Shuttle runs Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 9:00 pm. A CDL license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up passengers and transport them from Coastal Place Apartments to the Campus Center on the Brunswick campus or local shopping venues, or vice versa.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Follow traffic regulations.
• Maintain a neat and tidy vehicle by performing light cleaning and monitoring for trash.
• Perform related work as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Current valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and must pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.
• At least 10 years experience driving a vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving larger vehicles with multiple passengers.

Proposed Salary

$13.50 per hour.

Conditions of Employment

Successful completion of background investigation and legal authorization to work in the U.S. prior to employment.
