Job summary

Monarch Annapolis is seeking a Temporary Support Assistant to aid teachers in meeting the physical, emotional, and instructional needs of students across Preschool/PreK to secondary levels. The role involves supervising students, assisting with self-care, and data collection as directed by staff.

Responsibilities include supporting classroom activities, reinforcing instructional plans, and ensuring safety during transportation and on-site activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required; coursework in child development preferred.
• Ability to work with students with diverse needs and behaviors.
• Experience or training in supporting instructional activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students throughout the day in classrooms and on-site/work site locations.
• Assist with students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and instructional needs.
• Support instruction by reinforcing teacher-led content in small groups or one-on-one.
