Responsibilities

• Participates in routine supervision of students throughout the day in school or worksite environments.
• Assists students with social behavior, self-care, and personal hygiene as assigned.
• Supports students during instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings as directed by the teacher.
• Observes and manages student behavior according to approved procedures.
• Gathers data on student performance and supports data collection by the supervising teacher.
• Assists with transitions and movement to ensure students reach the correct locations.
• Following school policies, participates in professional development and related care activities.
