Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Formal academic courses in child development with applications to special education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students throughout the school day in classrooms and on worksites.
• Assist students with social behavior, self-care and basic needs as assigned.
• Support instructional activities in one-on-one or small groups as directed by staff.
• Observe and record student behavior and progress; collect data as required.
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs and implement supports.
• Follow board policies and participate in professional development as required.
