Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Submit to and pass the pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
• Fingerprints must clear Public Safety and FBI checks.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Inupiaq speaking and cultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus to transport pupils and authorized personnel to and from schools.
• Maintain discipline when students are on the bus and report problems to the proper authority.
• Keep the assigned bus clean and conduct routine safety checks.
• Follow assigned route and schedule and report delays or issues.
• Complete and attend required training sessions and adhere to District rules.
