Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Short-Term Speech Language Pathologist to support 7–12 grade students in Minneapolis, MN during the 2026-2027 school year. The role includes assessments, treatment planning, and direct therapy to help students improve communication in accordance with IEP goals.

Requires Minnesota SLP license; DOJ/FBI Live Scan and TB clearance preferred. Collaboration with teachers and families is essential for successful generalization of skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: Department of Education certification; one year of school-based experience; knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Ability to conduct Speech Assessments in Spanish.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
