Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Mendota Heights, MN is seeking Youth Care Professionals to provide temporary relief in a safety-focused, restraint-free environment. You will support daily living activities and reinforce treatment plans while coordinating with a dedicated team.

Shifts include 7am–3:30pm, 3pm–11:30pm, and 11pm–7:30am. Compensation is $19 per hour, onsite at Aspen House, with opportunities to engage families and deliver trauma-informed care to teens aged 11–18.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals.
• Open to meeting cultural needs and values.
• Must pass DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and supervise client daily activities and behavior.
• Collaborate with team on treatment plans and therapeutic services.
• Respect diversity and include individuals of all backgrounds.
• Maintain client safety and a positive, therapeutic environment.
• Plan and participate in client activities.
• Adapt interactions to client phases and privileges as needed.
• Follow safety policies in living areas and during off-campus activities.
• Engage with families/support networks to support positive partnerships.
